Zwischen Sosnowiec und Katowice wurde die Strecke nicht verlegt, sondern bei der Sanierung um das zweite Gleis ergänzt.
Früher war die Strecke eingleisig zwischen den Haltestellen Sosnowiec Sobieskiego und Katowice Szopienice Morawa.
Wo das Bild entstand führte die Linie eingleisig zum Straßenrand. An der Haltestellte Stawiki gab es noch eine Ausweiche. Das hat immer gedauert! Deswegen war die Linie 15 NICHT das Verkehrsmittel, mit dem man gerne von Sosnowiec nach Katowice fuhr.
Das mag heute schon anders sein.
Übrigens: die Haltestellen im Revier werden in den neuesten PESA-Wagen auf Hochpolnisch angesagt, ab der Grenzhaltestelle Brynica auf Schlesisch!

Liebe Leute,
verlassen wir einmal die 26er-Trasse ein Stückchen nach
Süden: Am Südrand
von Sosnowiec, zwei Haltestellen vom Bahnhof entfernt,
befinden wir uns
hier an der Haltestelle Brynica, wo uns am 15er der Pesa
Twist 844
mit Namen «Usia» in Richtung des benachbarten Katowice
entgegenkommt.
Unspektakulär-elegante Wägen sind das in meinen Augen,
erquicklich
anzusehen und zu fahren; hier am 15er ist auch vieles sehr
grundlegend
renoviert worden – zugleich wirkt mir die Fahrt
über die teils ganz neue
Trasse dennoch ein kleines bisschen ruppig: Einbildung oder
Gleisverlege-
methode, die das suggeriert? In jedem Fall beeindruckend
finde ich die
prachtvolle Allee; die Aufnahme stammt wiederum vom 19.
August 2016.
