I need to add that ÖBB Postbus buses have a different registration scheme:
BD-xxxx ÖBB buses, registration between 1990 and 1997
BD-xxxxx Postbus buses, -"-
ÖBB-Postbus buses, registration after 2008
PT-xxxxx Postbus and ÖBB Postbus buses, reg. between 1997 and 2008
BB-xxxx ÖBB buses, registration between 1997 and 2004
W-xxx-BB ÖBB buses, registration around 2004
ÖBB Postbus has been founded in 2004 when ÖBB (with their BahnBus
company) bought Postbus. Before 1988 and between 1997 and 2004, Postbus
and Bahnbus were separate companies with separate marketing, between
1988 and 1997 both were, despite remaining separate companies, branded
the same way as "Bundesbus", to be distinguished only by the number of
digits on the licence plate.
