Re: [stvkr-a-fotos] Old GM buses still in service

Hi Harald,
<<Are there anywhere buses left, which where looking very much like PCC-streetcars (I don´t know their designation)?>>

Not sure if you meant these:
http://cptdb.ca/wiki/images/8/8c/5931.jpg they were built from 1940 to 1969 and were replaced by the New Looks. There are a few in museums but none in actual service.

Enthusiasts coined the name "Old Look" after the New Looks were introduced.

GM had a complicated model designation such as:
TDH-5101 Transit Diesel Hydraulic transmission 51 seater model 01 and so on. Thus it was easier to just use "Old Look"

There were over 3600 of that model built and this page:
http://cptdb.ca/wiki/index.php?title=General_Motors_TDH-5105 gives details of who used them and has a list of preserved units,
