sorry for replying in English, but my Italian is limited to the
basics, like "bírra", "vino" ,"stazione", "tranvia", "filobus"
and "penne al arrabiata" (and similar important words -;).
Based on slides, mostly shot by Hans H. Heider in the sixties and
seventies, I continued collecting buses (beneath my collection of
trams, which includes roughly 70000 slides, focused on Vienna plus
selected cities worldwide)just a few years ago. Therefore
the "oldest" own pictures of buses are made from 1998 onwards, which
means a "hole" of almost twenty years - these years partially covered
(yet in prints) by Peter Loesch, founder of "Oesterreichisches
Omnibus-Museum" who could be of help too (oeom@chello.at).
Thus (slides!) it's practically impossible to present pictures in the
net as I would have to scan almost (in the meantime) 10000 slides
(bus, and 70000 trams) to have them ready for posting. Should you
ever plan to visit Vienna, please do not hesitate to contact me: We
could sit together and watch at least parts of my collection.
Best greetings from Vienna,
Ludwig
PS: Thanks to Hans H. Heider and Harald Jahn some slides are scanned
in the meantime, and more are to come - therefore I will post those
suitable (due to size) in the future too.
